| Thoughtfully unpretentious and resonantly Brighton, the Oriental is like visiting the home of one of your friends, relaxed and unfussy, but with all the trimmings of a lifestyle hotel.
With parking on the next square, the beach within 40 metres and the city centre less than 5 minutes’ walk away, what else would you want from the city which boasts a cosmopolitan crowd, vast centuries of history, the South Downs, festivals, water sports and much more?
Following an exciting refurbishment, the Oriental now boasts 3 new superior rooms with spa baths, luxurious sofas and desk space.
The Beach Hotel and Regency Restaurant date back to 1828, when the restaurant was Lawson & Son jewellery shop and the hotel known as St. Alban''s Hotel.
In 1930, Lawson & Son jewellery shop became the Regency Restaurant and the hotel was renamed The Beach Hotel. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard yet is still in keeping with the regency era.
